What is encoder? Draw the circuit diagram for decimal to binary encoder.

A class compress has been defined to remove all the duplicate character in a sequence by its single occurrence. Some of the members of the class are:
Classname:       compress.
Data member:   char s[ ] to store the string.
Member functions:
compress( )      constructor to accept the string.
int findlength()   d the number of characters present in the string.
void remove_duplicate( )          to replace the duplicate character in sequence by its single occurrence.
void display ( )  to print the string.
For example for the input “Suppose bubble balloon is successful 2222 times”The output will be “Supose buble balon is sucesful 2 times”.
Notice sequence occurrence of spaces has also been replaced by single space

Write the code for class compress giving details of constructor, int findlength( ), void remove_duplicate( ) and void display ( ). Assume that the string will not be of more than 100 characters.

Encoder :

The logic circuit that converts signals from one type to another is called as encoder. For example decimal to binary encoder converts decimal number to their binary equivalents.Circuit diagram for decimal to binary encoder is :

Tips / Guidelines :
(1) The definition and working of combinational circuit must be understood.
(2)
The method to determine the number of output line for encoder is 2n must be >= I, Where I is the total numbers to be encoded and n is the number of output lines.
(3)
The diagram of the various types of encoder must be understood, learned and practiced.
