Become a GEMS “Dynamic” Lab School by the following measures: |
|
1. |
Take up GEMS “Dynamic” Assessments as part of the systemic reform process over the years and not just as an add on. This commitment may be possible only after a trial period, in which time the schools will be in the ‘consideration phase’. |
2. |
Provide teacher and coordinator training at the Copper Level in the “From Copper to Gold” training programme and commit to furthering some teachers to the Gold level. |
3. |
Agree to share research and findings, innovative work with teachers nationally and internationally, participate in events and be open to provide support as requested. |
4. |
Display a board and share with students and parents and the community at large that you are a GEMS “Dynamic” Lab School. |
5. |
We want schools to be open to helping other schools and the rural populations to implement the goals for which GEMS “Dynamic” stands. We expect schools to contribute staff time and some resources on a voluntary basis towards this and involve students, parents and teachers in this extension programme in underprivileged rural and urban communities and schools that serve them. |
